Elize
Labuschagne is a Pretoria-based entrepreneur whose timeless elegance

Having had the privilege to qualify as a doctor of cultural history,
she realises the importance of promoting a truly African culture and

An American client
living in Luanda, Angola, encapsulated the Elize Labuschagne Interiors
ethos by presenting her with a Healer's Comb fromGhana.
This gilt version is modelled on the carved wooden combs prescribed
by traditional healers to literally "comb people's problems out of
their hair". After consultation with a client, the traditional healer
goes into a trance and then designs a comb to be carved for the individual
to solve his or her problem. The comb includes:

representing the skill to solve problems

signifying the power and importance of family.
When the client
came upon this comb, she immediately thought of Elize who so effortlessly
relieved her of her decorating challenges.
